There are so many abandoned and rescued animals who need someone to love and care for them. And they need someone to love, too. We can help you find the pet that is right for you and your family. We invite you to attend one of our adoption fairs, held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. You are also welcome to contact us at 704.663.3330 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do occasionally approve an out-of-state adoption. if it’s in the best interest of the pet. However, we do not ship. You will have to arrange for transportation and cover all costs.
For the most up to date list of animals, check out our listing at Petfinder.com.
If you’re interested in adopting, please download and fill out an adoption application for a dog or a cat by clicking the appropriate link below.Adoption Application for Dogs Adoption Application for Cats
Sometimes animals aren't quite ready to be adopted. They may have behaviour issues, aren’t used to being around people, or have health issues that need to be overcome before they can be placed in a home.
Until the day comes when they can be adopted, the Humane Society of Iredell needs loving homes where the animals can be fostered. If you have a lot of love to give, please consider filling out an application below to foster a cat and/or a dog. You can foster more than one animal.Foster Application
We rely on volunteers who care about the well-being of animals. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer. We ask that each HSI volunteer make a minimum 6 month commitment to the HSI animals.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have about adopting or fostering a pet.
